Heal From the Inside Out!

You’ve Tried Everything. You Still Don’t Feel Well. I Get It

You’ve been dealing with symptoms that don’t make sense — bloating, fatigue, headaches, joint pain, brain fog.

You’ve seen doctors and gotten nowhere.

The truth is, the food you eat every day may be driving how you feel.

Instead of chronic bloating, fatigue, headaches, brain fog, joint pain, and symptoms no one can explain, you want to:

  • Finally understand why your body feels the way it does — and get real answers that make sense
  • Eat in a way that’s personalized to your unique body, not just another generic diet plan
  • Have the real energy and mental clarity to do the things you love every day
  • Stop guessing, stop suffering, and finally start healing from the inside out

My Own Journey To Healing

In 2012, while finishing my dietetic internship, I got really sick — severe stomach pain, bloating, and digestive symptoms so bad I could barely eat. I was diagnosed with H. pylori and treated it holistically with my naturopath alongside dietary changes.

At the same time I did a food sensitivity test — an IgA/IgG panel. The results flagged everything I’d ever eaten with no real guidance, no structure, just a long list of foods to avoid for six months. I felt restricted and more frustrated than before I started.

Then in 2015 I met my mentor and learned about the MRT test and LEAP program. I did the test on myself and the difference was immediate — a clear, structured plan focused on what I could eat, phase by phase, with real guidance behind it. That structure made all the difference.

That’s why I’m so passionate about helping others finally get the answers they deserve.

A journey inspired by family and nature

I grew up in Colorado, surrounded by mountains, outdoor adventures, and a family that took health seriously. My dad, brothers, and sister were bodybuilders and weightlifters. My parents took us camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting. We grew our own food and cooked from scratch. My grandmother was also a dietitian and inspired me to eat healthy. Health and real food were just part of how we lived.

I also grew up watching what the right nutrition and mindset could do in the face of real health challenges. I saw my father triumph over cancer through sheer determination and a commitment to taking care of his body. I watched my mother run races after breaking her neck — when most people would have given up entirely.

My mom is living proof of what’s possible when you take care of your body. She turns 90 this year, takes no medications, and still hikes 5-7 miles in the Tucson desert regularly. She has been my inspiration my entire life — and a daily reminder that the body has an incredible capacity to thrive when you give it what it needs. Those experiences shaped me in a deep way.

Blending Professional Expertise
with Personal Insight

I formalized this passion with extensive education and certifications, becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in 2013, a Certified Leap Therapist in 2015, and a Dietitian Nutrition Coach in 2020, among other qualifications.

My experience is not just academic; it’s personal.

Prior to becoming a Registered Dietitian, I was in the US Navy, where I learned discipline through the physical and mentally demanding training.  I believe this helped make me the person I am today.

After the Navy- being a stay-at-home mom for several years, I became a licensed cosmetologist, and during those years did extensive self-learning and research in nutrition and natural remedies.

I wanted to be able to share my lifelong nutrition, health and fitness experiences to help others.

This led to me going to college at age 35 to become a Registered Dietitian- while raising a family and continuing my hair business!

It was a long, difficult path, but I finally achieved my goal – to share my nutrition passion to help others.

Now I am an empty nester blessed with 2 awesome adult children, a new granddaughter,  and married for 35 years to my amazing husband, who has supported me through this journey.

How I work- and Why its Different

I’m a big-picture person. I don’t overwhelm people with complicated protocols or pages of technical detail. What I do is cut through the confusion and get to what actually matters: figuring out what’s driving your symptoms and building a clear, personalized plan to address it.

I think of the LEAP program as a windshield wiper. It clears away a huge part of the problem — the inflammatory foods and chemicals that have been quietly driving your symptoms. For many people, that alone creates dramatic improvement. But it doesn’t always mean the work is completely done.

Our bodies are complex. As we go through life — different ages, different stressors, different health events — new layers can emerge. That’s where additional testing like the GI Map and micronutrient testing can come in. These tools help us go deeper and dial things in further when needed. The goal is always the same: figure out what your body specifically needs, address the root cause, and get you feeling as good as possible.

I’m direct and honest. I’m not going to tell you what you want to hear if it’s not going to help you. But I genuinely care about your results — because I know what it feels like not having answers, and I know how much your life changes when you finally do.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Every person who walks through my (virtual) door has a unique body, unique history, and unique triggers. My job is to figure out yours — and give you the tools to actually heal.

“Tanya improved my quality of life so much with the LEAP program. Whenever I would eat I would feel discomfort and that is no longer here. I now know what foods impact me and worked to be able to eat those foods again with less impact on my body.”

My Approach to Your Care

My approach is grounded in the belief that each person is unique — and so are their nutritional needs and health challenges.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. I focus on whole, real food customized to address your specific symptoms, your unique body, and your individual goals.

I use advanced functional nutrition testing — including the MRT test, GI Map, and micronutrient testing — to get a real picture of what’s going on in your body. Then I build a clear, personalized plan to address it.

Whether you’re dealing with digestive issues, chronic fatigue, headaches, or symptoms no one has been able to explain, my strategies are tailored to bring you real, lasting results.

I don’t just offer diet plans — I help you finally get to the root cause.

I combine my extensive qualifications with a deep personal understanding of what it feels like to struggle with chronic symptoms — to offer you more than just nutritional advice. I take a truly holistic approach: food, gut health, lifestyle, and functional testing all working together.

I focus on getting to the root cause of your health challenges — addressing food sensitivities, micronutrients, gut health, and inflammation.

My goal is simple: help you feel better, understand your body, and give you the tools to stay that way long term.

“Before starting the program, I struggled with severe bloating, constipation, gas, fatigue, and weight gain for over 7 years. I was tired all the time but felt restless at night—Tanya called it “tired but wired,” which described me perfectly. My bloating was constant, sometimes mild and other times so painful that I ended up in the ER. No matter what elimination diets I tried, nothing gave me lasting relief. After working with Tanya and following the MRT/LEAP program, I’m 100% symptom-free for the first time in years! I no longer experience the painful bloating, and I’ve even lost 15 pounds—something I could never do before. Once my body started thriving on the right foods, everything changed. I feel better than I have in years, and I’m so grateful for this program! My advice: stick with it 100%, and you’ll see life-changing results like I did.”

Empowering your health journey: knowledge as power...

Real Food Is Medicine

I've believed this my whole life — long before I had the credentials to back it up. The right food, for your specific body, can change everything. And the wrong food, even if it's considered healthy, can quietly keep you sick.

You Deserve Answers

Being told your labs are normal when you feel terrible is one of the most frustrating experiences there is. You deserve a practitioner who takes your symptoms seriously, digs deeper, and actually finds the cause.

Healing Is Personal

There is no universal diet. No perfect eating plan that works for everyone. The only approach that works long-term is one that's built around your body, your life, and your goals. That's what I do.
